Samp is really starting to lose steam with this project. There was the elongated period with no reviews, but he also has missed a few other days recently, and he hasn't posted 2 reviews on the same day in a long time now. At this rate he may not even get
    through the 1950s.

I think he'll have a job getting thru the 50's too

He began this project in June 2017 with releases from September 1947. It's now July 2023 and he's coming up to releases from September 1952. So far its taken him six years to cover five years of releases.
And five years when rock 'n' roll was in its infancy.

What's he going to do in a year or two from where he is now----when it really takes off with the huge increase in US teenagers embracing the music, the major labels putting out much more of it and the corresponding boom in the number of small independent
labels releasing tons more of the stuff. Not forgetting of course, the huge number of white rock 'n' roll and rockabilly acts that will appear on the scene all vying for attention.

So will he ever get to 1960 with this? Personally I have very severe doubts

And even if he does how many of us on here will still be living to see it?

Yes, the number of releases in years like 1956 through 1959 are VASTLY larger than they were in the early years when there was almost no white rock and roll acts yet.
