Hard to chose, but I'd have to give Hey Porter a slight edge.

It's a tie for me, Steve, I can't decide between these two Sun sides.

For me, better sides can be found in these two playlists:

1955-1956 "Johnny Cash with His Hot and Blue Guitar" (16 tracks) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wgAUl9KQrtM&list=OLAK5uy_l2u9SdJbEMu5giKsvs-0v2n4JW3WkTEXU
    starts with "Rock Island Line"

1957-1958 "Sings the Songs That Made Him Famous" (16 tracks): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-DjCdKcg_s&list=OLAK5uy_mrA9nm5b8AdXUASZHaDMWBVeyGpK-sm8E
starts with "Ballad Of A Teenage Queen"

Both 7's but "I Still Miss Someone" in front.

He did a memorable version of this live in a London show I saw many yearsago that I'd rate an 8

    -----------
I bought this record in 1959. I bought it for the "novelty" side but
once I turned it over I liked "I Still Miss Someone" even better. 7 for
    Guns, 8 for Miss.
(Editorial: But I must say the message behind the lyrics to that
"novelty" side resonate even more strongly 64 years later in an America
    plagued by gun violence.)

Does the phrase "in my opinion" exist anywhere in your vocabulary?

Of course, but you simply posted:

It's one of the music's all-time best double-siders, but I'll give a slight nod to "Hey Porter."

As if this was some sort of accepted fact as it is with things like...

Hound Dog / Don't Be Cruel
Wouldn't It Be Nice / God Only Knows
Penny Lane / Strawberry Fields Forever
