Teddy McRae, a saxophone player, writer, and arranger worked with
the likes of Chick Webb, Ella Fitzgerald, and Cab Calloway, as well as
leading his own groups throughout the '30s and '40s. In the '50s he
recorded a few R&B sides such as this one.
