Why don't you make a New Year's resolution to stop posting this dreck
that nobody pays any attention to?

Maybe you didn't realize this, but if there's a thread that you aren't interested in, you don't have to click on it.
Raful Neal covers Wilbert Harrison's remake of his own song from our era in 1969.-------

It's not on Youtube or the 78 site, but it must be brutal. Anybody ever heard it?
RONNIE GAYLORD (Wing 90000)
“AIN’T IT A SHAME” [Commodore BMI—]
Wing has a strong contender in this pop rendition of a smash rhythm & blues success.
Ronnie Gaylord handles the tune in powerful form. Could click.

It's "Ain't THAT A Shame" on this release of the song and there's a one minute slip of it here

You were right first time
Gene recorded this in late 1956 and it debuted on The "Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps" album in 1957
OTOH Milano's remake (later booted out on the West Coast) wasn't released till 1957
Not sure if this guy is covering Gene Vincent or if GV covered him. I'm sure Roger will know the answer.

I don't recall hearing this version before. Like most of the other covers of the song it doesn't really suit the artist but its not as bad as some other covers (Jane Turzy,Bunny Paul for examples)
Best version after the Clyde & co original has to be the much later Elvis of course--but that's not a cover
Worst version of the whole lot IMO HAS to be this one---from here in the UK (where of course Johnnie Ray took his cover to #1---but we never got the Clyde original here at the time)
Okay...the WORST "Such A Night" cover IMO
