  • Google Groups Spam Filter for Agent Newsreader

    under Agent Tools > Usenet Filters > Filter > New *Watch* Filter

    this will be changed to *Kill* Filter if filter continues to work well

    nearly all members who have recently posted from Google Groups
    have now successfully migrated to Nova

    but, to be on the safe side, I've included the email addresses of all
    recent GG users in the filter so that they are excluded from being
    watched or killed (all brackets seen below are included in the actual
    filter):

    message-id: googlegroups.com and not from: (<carl's email address> or
    <will's email address> or <roger's...)

    Might want to wait until February when we know Google Groups will be officially defunct...?

    Don't think so. That is when the filter can be removed or changed to
    specify a different .com spam source.
