    I'm not a fan of it sorry. They do it better than the dire Sonny Dae original but all I really need is the classic Haley version.

    That's what Bruce said, 1959. Not a keeper for me anyhow but I just found it an interesting take. In the 1970s the Isleys did a lot of remakes of white artists' records, sometimes improving on them, sometimes not. I didn't realize how early they
    started doing this.

    This one is from 1959 too and its the original version of the song---but as a founder member of the Eddie Hodges Fan Club I'm sure you'll appreciate hearing it again :)
