Just curious what everyone here uses for cleaning their Vinyl records
    these days?

Myself, I haven't owned a turntable in 40 years, but hopefully someone
    else can answer you.

. start off with high-pressure air
. apply soap, shower gel, glass cleaner, and/or furniture polish
. rinse with tap water and dry with paper towel
if your vinyl record still has significant surface noise:
. use steel wool or hard-bristle brush along with acetone or any
    cleaning product that contains alcohol

whilst perfecting this method, you should practice with records that
are of little value, just to be on the safe side :-)

in this newsgroup we have two very experienced and highly rated
sellers of new and used 45s who might suggest other methods

or you could try Google and/or Bing Chat

So went ahead purchased something called a
Spin-Clean. I'll post a photo of it once it arrives.

Spin-Clean (under $100) gets many favorable reviews for sure:

but read the top two reviews, half way down page, for caveats

    the next step up, it seems, is an Ultrasonic Vinyl Record Cleaner;
there's one advertised on this Amazon page for $549

Usually just a soft towel to wipe away any dust, if my memory serves
    me well.

While using a soft towel to wipe away dust can help, it’s not enough
to thoroughly clean a vinyl record. Here are some recommended steps
    for cleaning vinyl records:

Dust the record: Use a carbon fiber brush or microfiber cloth to
gently dust along the record’s grooves.

Clean with a solution: Mix distilled water with a small amount of dish
soap. Dampen a microfiber cloth in this solution and clean the record.

Rinse: Wipe the record with a microfiber cloth wet with distilled
    water.

Dry: Use a clean microfiber towel to dry the record.

Ill have a look at the reviews that you mentioned. From what I was
told, it should be a pretty decent option for what I need it for.
As I mentioned before, Ill post some photos once it arrives.
