    SPONTANEOUS LUNACY VERDICT - 3/10

Apparently early pressings of this single had "Rest Of My Life" as the flipside to "Who Drank My Beer..."--certainly the trade papers seem to have reviewed it with that coupling. I've yet to see a copy released that way--all copies I've ever seen have
    the coupling as reviewed here

BTW "Rest Of My Life" wasn't a "new" song---it was his old number "AIn't Gonna Do It" simply retitled

Your subject truncated where it did because it tries to truncate at the end

You are not giving enough detailed logic here, Retro Guy,
enough to be of practical help in constructing subjects/titles.

If you read the article you posted (click on it, or read it with a >>>>>newsreader), you will see the subject line remains intact.

    this was not truncated:

    REVIEW-The Five Hollywood Blue Jays:"So Worried"-RIH 185;NOVEMBER 1952 >>>>
    this was truncated:

    REVIEW-Dave Bartholomew-“Little Girl Sing Ding-A-Ling”:IMPERIAL<space> >>>> 5210;NOVEMBER 52

    I see a bug!

I'll work on this today and reply back when I get somewhere.

I do have a doctor appt in a couple of hours, so there will be a bit of a >>> delay.

I found the problem. It's due to the subject being encoded on posting, and being multi-line. The second line was being discarded. It now displays (on a test site) as:
    REVIEW-Dave Bartholomew-“Little Girl Sing Ding-A-Ling”:IMPERIAL 5210;N >> so it is being truncated at the pre-defined 69 characters.

I have it working properly now on a test site, but need to do some testing to make sure it doesn't break anything else. I'll keep at it for a bit.

THank you for your efforts in solving this. It is much appreciated

Let's give it a test and see what happens...
