In 2008, I produced a three-hour special for college radio. I based WHAT WAS THE FIRST ROCK 'N' ROLL RECORD? on the 1992 book by Jim Dawson and Steve Propes.

...I'm going to air with WHAT WAS THE FIRST ROCK 'N' ROLL RECORD? in its entirety this Friday night on WECS, from 10 p.m. - 1 a.m. EST.

The live stream is available at www.wecsfm.com. Alas, the station does not archive its programming.

That's truly great, Dean. I'll be recording your broadcast.

I now have this, which should be legendary, 3 hour broadcast by host
and producer Dean Farrell, as an mp3 (only 61 MB).

By the way, it was preceded by a special edition of "The Soul
    Express" which really was, brilliant.
