Here it is.......the RAREST of the RARE!!

This is how it did in the 1952 Singles Battle

    PRELIM
12 The Five Sharps - Stormy Weather - Jubilee 5104
7 Patti Page - Come What May - Mercury 5772

    7 Hugo Winterhalter - A Kiss To Build A Dream On - RCA 4455
15 The Five Sharps - Stormy Weather - Jubilee 5104

    R2
19 Muddy Waters - She Moves Me - Chess 1490
6 The Five Sharps - Stormy Weather - Jubilee 5104

And in the later Vocal Groups Battle

    R1
    16 The Crystals -- He's A Rebel -- Philles 106 -- 1962
    3 The Five Sharps -- Stormy Weather -- Jubilee 5104 -- 1952

    SPONTANEOUS LUNACY VERDICT - 5/10

    I quite like it--it's a high 7 on my 1952 list.

Yes,the later Spaniels version is performed better---but I miss those "thunder sound effects" on the Sharps version---and the Sharps do it at a better tempo
