I initially thought it was about being in heaven, but a definition in
the Urban Dictionary has me questioning that interpretation. That is
that it's the state you reach after popping pills until you are totally relaxed. Given Bobby Charles history of drug use, this could be his inspiration for the song. I'd hate to think that.
