• A Mystery from the past

From Steve Mc@21:1/5 to All on Thu May 30 08:37:49 2024
This was first brought up years ago, perhaps by Diane.

At the time, no one knew who did this song. I believe it must be titled
" I Wanna Know", starting with the lines 6 times, " I Wanna know pretty
    baby, what you're gonna do".

Has anyone yet came up with an artist ?

I don't remember this at all. However, "I Wanna Know" or "I Want To
Know" is a very frequently used song title. There's one by the
Lamplighters and one by the Diablos, just for starters.

In addition, Steve, you could use the free Microsoft Clipchamp to
create, in a few steps, a YouTube link using your MP3.

Yes, there will be a short learning curve, and you need to have an
account with Microsoft and YouTube, but the only real challenge is for
you to find or create a single background image for the video (which
you simply tell Clipchamp to repeat throughout the audio).

Thanks Steve, I've retrieved it from gmail.

I now see I have the same "Unknown" MP3 in my collection
    dated Sep 10, 2018 :-)

I've listened to snippets from all my "I Wanna Know" mp3s
(very roughly, 20 or so different artists) with no luck.

A unique clue you could consider adding in future is that
the intro is pounding drums with some sax.
