Yep, I read "Justice League" as a kid and most of the other DC comics
too after they started importing them here in bulk circa 1957 or so
(before that we still got Superman and Batman here but in Australian
    imported versions)

But I soon discovered the wonderful EC comics like "Tales From The
Crypt" and "Vault Of Horror" that were better than all the D C titles
IMO and became my firmest of favorites in American comics

I'm with you on EC Cpmics. I was a meme of the EC Fan Addicts Club.

A test, it seems that JLA Forums may be back up again.
    ------
You were a meme? Ohhhh...a member.

Will, why do you want to use JLA Forums instead of NovaBBS? If I try to
go there (JLA) I always get a warning that the site is not secure.

    And a meme as well.

    Or is there another problem?

    What the fuck is JLA?

Yes, but I grew up and forgot all about them when I was like 11. That
    was 55+ years ago.

Can I assume you're talking about comic books and now Usenet sites?

I mostly use Nova BBS but JLA Forums are useful for the archives that go
    back twenty years.

There are about 100 other people I'd rather see returning to this group,
and that includes Doug Peneny and Dave Bull.

The good news is that when Google Groups shut down, Michael Pendragon
and his fellow troll thugs lost Usenet access and haven't posted on the poetry group since.

    Good riddance, of course.

If I see them I'll let you know, going back now to see what the first
page of messages circa 2003 are archived here at JLA Forums.

    See y'all soon.

You were an original member, in the 1950s?

Yes, It came with a letter, membership card and "EC Fan-Addict Club
*Mad Member*" patch and bronze badge that read "EC Fan-Addict." The
kit was originally issued in 1953,
