Not the greatest Orioles record I ever heard but I found it pleasant
    enough

But then I refuse to subscribe to this silly "strings are evil" cult
that consigns some of my very favorite records of all time (starting
with "There Goes My Baby") to the dustbin

I have "There Goes My Baby" on my 1959 list. It's not in any dust bin,
but it's only a 7 and not in my top 100 for a weak year compared to
other years from 1951 through 1958. I prefer "Oh My Love" on the flip,
    it's a higher 7 for me.

By the way, this record came up because I saw an ad for it in Cash Box
and did not recognize the title, did not have it on MP3. I went and
listened to it to see why I would not have made an MP3 on it, and I got
my answer. It's pretty dire. Happily Jubilee abandoned that dump idea
and went back to the group's usual
    minimalist arrangements right away.

I'd say that taking my #4 recording of the year (with "rated 10" written
all over it") and demoting it as thoroughly as above and it missing its
years' Top 100 completely (!) comes pretty close to consigning it to the dustbin

I prefer "Oh My Love" on the flip,
    it's a higher 7 for me.

Good to see at least a tiny bit of agreement here with this rating
