No,I confined all the "Fave" posts to the period 1952 - 1963 (when my
    lists are more accurate :)

As for "Beal Street On A Saturday Night" I always understood the other
    artist to be Scatman Crothers

What a bout "The Deacon Moves In"? Little Esther more or less duetting
with Charlie White of The Dominoes. It'd be #1 on my list for sure

You didn't have that on your female list?

If not, then yes, it's easily the top duet of 1951.

If not, then yes, it's easily the top duet of 1951.

I don't come up with enough titles for a full 1951 Duets list but here's
    what I have

The Deacon Moves In Little Esther & Dominoes
Heart To Heart Little Esther & Dominoes
Beal Street On A Saturday Night Calvin Boze (Scatman Crothers)
Out in The Cold Again Ravens & Dinah Washington (Jimmy Ricks) Ring-A-Ding-Doo Little Esther & Mel WAlker
I’m Waiting Just For You Lucky Millinder (Annisteen Allen)
Hey Good Lookin’ Ravens & Dinah Washington (Jimmy Ricks)
    Sixty Minute Man York Brothers
How’d You Like Your Eggs In The Morning Dean Martin & Helen O’Connell I’ve Been Lost Little Willie Littlefield & Little Lora Wiggins
That’s the One For Me Roy Milton & Camille Howard
Gone Fishin’ Bing Crosby & Louis Armstrong
Crying Heart Blues Johnny & Jack
Down The Trail Of Achin’ Hearts Hank Snow & Anita Carter
Oceans Of Tears Kay Starr & Tennessee Ernie Ford

1951 also contains the duet I probably HATE most- the appalling "Aba
    Daba Honeymoon" abortion

So I liked it a lot when I was 3.
Now my granddaughter is 3 and she likes all the Disney stuff.
I'm not going to introduce her to "Abba Dabba," if for no other reason
than that my daughter would kill me. She's never heard it. We'll just
let it be our little secret.

    From 1914 here's the original version :-

As regards the 1951 version you remember---I take it this was the Debbie Reynolds/Carleton Carpenter big hit version as there were several other versions out there

I suppose so, but I'm no Sc*rl*tti--I can't remember much from when I
    was that young.
