OMG I dunno what happened there!!

    THanks for spotting it

Okay remove the Imperial intruder---move everything below UP one place
    so the new
#25 becomes "Flip Flop And Fly" - Joe Turner

I would have thought with your list that you'd at least confine it to
items from the period we discuss here

Afraid not. These popish 60s soul records are not a patch on the ass of
things like "Jim Dandy" and "5-10-15 Hours." Different story if you've
got hard core soul like "Hold On I'm A-Comin'" or "In the Midnight Hour"
or "Papa's Got A Brand New Bag" up there, but not watered down stuff
    like Barbara Lewis records.

Apologies to you but it is annoying when somebody who knows full well
that "Hello Stranger" is my favorite record of 1963 feigns surprise when
it shows up high on a list of my Atlantic label favorites.

What would make you think that she knows what your favorite record of
    1963 is?

Besides that, my favorite record of 1963, "It's All Right," would not
even be among my 100 favorite records of the 50s. I just checked, and if
I combined my 1956 list and my 1963 list, "It's All Right" would be #28,
below "Tired And Sleepy" and above "Go, Go, Go."

So even if Diane knew that "Hello Stranger" was your favorite record of
1963, that does not mean that it would necessarily be above all Lavern
Baker and Ruth Brown records. As I recall, "Jim Dandy" was pretty high
    on your 1956 list, no?

Don't be sarcastic; it doesn't become you.

Apologies to you but it is annoying when somebody who knows full well >>>>> that "Hello Stranger" is my favorite record of 1963 feigns surprise when >>>>> it shows up high on a list of my Atlantic label favorites.

What would make you think that she knows what your favorite record of
    1963 is?

    DUHHH!!

It was NOT Diane that I was referring to

You quoted her posts and nobody else's posts when you said that. Nobody
else commented on "Hello Stranger" before you made that post, so who
else could you be referring to?

If that question REALLY has to be asked then I have to withdraw this
    comment
"Your reading skills never cease to amaze"

If you're saying that the comment was directed to me, again I say,
nobody commented about the Barbara Lewis record but Diane when you made
the comment, and you quoted only her posts when you made the comment.

OK I have to apologize here to all concerned but especially to Diane.

I mistakenly labelled the following quote as yours and not hers

"Barbara Lewis makes your list but not Ruth or Lavern?"

    Sincere apologies to all concerned
