    stop the B.S......... go to Kreisler 1926 Blech, (NOT 1936), not perfect intonation--- which you probably will not notice anyway:-))) but listen for the beauty of the tone, phrasing, musical line, etc. he was the greatest..............

    We all know this. I am interested in finding
    new performances, rather than listening
    again and again to the 6 feet under folks.

    I want to hear LIVE PERFORMANCES, not
    YADA YADA. Recordings are YADA YADA
    by definition, except in the few cases they
    evoke live performances. I never heard
    Kreisler live, so his recordings do not
    evoke for me any live performance.

    I heard Richter, Gilels, Rubinstein, Van
    Cliburn, etc... live, and their recordings
    evoke live performances for my ears.
