I've had a bunch of other things needing my attention, but after
getting the View it's parking spot and getting the power protector and
water pressure valve, hoses, etc. I decided to take the wife for a
short ride since she hadn't even been in it while it was moving.
Intended on going out for a few days next week just to sort out any
bug that might pop up before long trips. I just got the plates for
it, put them on, pulled in the slider and down off the jacks.
I'll be damned if I look down at the dash after a couple miles and the
yellow check engine light is is on. I've only driven it home from the dealer and then on a short 5 mile loop for the wife and I gotta take
it in to see what the hell is going on with that. AArrrggghhhhh!

Another thing to try first (OBDII scanner is a good thing to have
regardless) is to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes or so and
reconnect. Sometimes these computers get the signals messed up and a
reset will fix it. If the light stays off, you're golden. If not...

I got the scanner and it give code P23AD. Looks like NOx sensor. I'm gonna crawl under there tomorrow and see if some of the connectors
came loose or something. If they did, it should reset and make the
light go out on its own. If not, at least I know what the problem is
now and can sleep easier.
