If you had $2000, an Extra Class license, and were tasked with building a station from scratch for DXing from Texas to Europe, what would your
equipment list be?

Buddipole vs buddistick - What's the difference?
Posted: 13 Mar 2022 11:43 PM PDT
https://www.reddit.com/r/amateurradio/comments/tdr5p8/buddipole_vs_buddistick_whats_the_difference/
Dear Hams, this community is super helpful and has helped me before as
well. I am utterly grateful.
Please excuse me if this is a stupid question, but I was wondering, what is
the difference between a buddipole and a buddistick. Apparently, buddipole
is a company that makes buddipole antennas, but it also makes buddistick antennas, so how do the two differ?
Thanks! submitted by /u/writeryouneed

Long Distance Post-Disaster Communication

Hi there, I’ve been thinking about long distance communications during a natural disaster and cell phones are useless. I came upon ham radios as a solution and thought I might ask here for a good place to start to being educating myself on the subject. Where should I begin? Would YouTube be a
good place to start? If so, who should i watch? Otherwise, is there a good website I could visit? submitted by /u/Sean_The_Engineer
