    The art of amateur radio is many things to many people. For me it's a technological challenge, a learning, a way to broaden my experience, a
    way to be technically active away from my consultancy

    bloody professionals

    Ofcom release Amateur Radio callsign database

    Posted: >http://www.southgatearc.org/news/2022/march/ofcom-release-amateur-radio- >callsign-database.htm?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email

    In response to a Freedom of Information (FoI) request Ofcom have
    released the database of 150,181 Amateur Radio callsigns for the UK
    and Crown Dependencies as at March 10, 2022

    ///////////////////////////////////////////

    The link to the database didn't seem to last long. It's now hidden
    behind a 'SquizMatrix' login, saying "You do not have permission to
    access the asset".

    Before it went, I did download the information. My callsign does not
    appear in the main list, and neither do many other active amateurs. It
    IS in the 'Sheet 1' list - but so are many others who I know have been
    SK for many years. What's going on? Should I be worried?
