WWE Superstar Ali Announces Hes Donating his Super ShowDown Earnings to
    Charity

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 08:05 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/wwe-superstar-ali-announces-hes-donating-his-super-showdown-earnings-to-charity/

WWE Superstar Ali has announced via Twitter that hes donating his Super ShowDown earnings to charity. The charity in question is an organization
called Charity: Water, which was founded in 2006. The groups mission is to provide clean drinking water to people who otherwise cant access any, most notably, those living in developing nations.

Ali participated in the 50-Man Battle Royal at Super ShowDown, which was
the largest battle royal of its kind in WWE history. Ali made it to the
final five, before being eliminated by Cesaro.

Alis star has risen in WWE over the past several months. The former 205
Live standout has impressed on every level each time hes had the
opportunity since coming to the main roster and hes built a great fan
    following as a result.

Ali went into Super ShowDown with the intention of being an inspiration to
kids watching around the world. Many of those kids share Alis cultural background and he wanted to win the match for them. Though he didnt get the victory, he continues to be a great example of what hard work and
    dedication can bring.

The Saudi Arabian Super ShowDown battle royal was actually won by Mansoor,
    who is a Saudi-born Superstar.

Earnings received today will be donated to @charitywater. Thank you.

Kofi Kingston on his Stomping Grounds Rematch vs. Dolph Ziggler: "Im Always Ready for Dolph"

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 06:44 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/kofi-kingston-on-his-stomping-grounds-rematch-vs-dolph-ziggler-im-always-ready-for-dolph/

WWE champion Kofi Kingston is still wearing the gold following his victory
over Dolph Ziggler. That victory came at Super ShowDown on June 7, where
the two men clashed in the ring with the companys top prize on the line.

But these two men are not finished just yet. Thats because Ziggler
immediately challenged Kofi once again after the match ended. That
challenge was accepted and the rematch will happen inside a steel cage at
    June 23s Stomping Grounds.

Kingston was interviewed by WWE backstage following Super ShowDown, where
he was reminded that hes not competed in that many cage matches during his career. But the champ doesnt seem to be worried about how he will fare when
the cage door closes on June 23.

We can be inside a steel cage, its not going to matter. Look man, Im always ready for Dolph and at Stomping Grounds, its on.

Im always about new challenges. Like I keep on saying: Im trying to be the best WWE champion that I can possibly be. So anything thats out of the ordinary thats going to challenge me to be the best? Im all for it.

Zigglers recent return to the company surprised many fans that did not
expect to see him back. Ziggler has not been in action since Januarys Royal Rumble, because he took time off from the company. WWE has given Dolph time away to pursue other interests, most notably his recent standup comedy tour.

Goldberg Claims He Was Knocked Out During WWE Super Showdown Match

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 05:44 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/goldberg-comments-on-controversial-match-following-wwe-super-showdown/

Bill Goldberg has commented on the controversial match between him and The Undertaker. That match took place at WWEs Super ShowDown on June 9, where
the two legends waged a bloody war with the whole world watching.

But the blood did not come in the classic pro wrestling style. Goldberg
charged at Taker in the corner and smashed his head into the ring-post,
nearly ending the match just minutes after the opening bell. From that
point on, the entire bout went downhill.

Making matters worse was the fact that Undertaker delivered a Tombstone Piledriver and Goldbergs head slammed down into the canvas. It appeared as though The Deadman had Goldberg up high enough to clear the mat, but that
Bill seemed to inadvertently slide down at the last moment.

Goldberg attempted an unsuccessful Jackhammer, which also planted Taker on
his head. Goldberg even tried a Tombstone of his own, but his legs buckled
    and he dropped The Phenom.

In the hours that followed this match, fans slammed both Superstars on
social media. Now that Goldberg has responded, its clear that hes just as disappointed as everyone that watched the match. Its unknown at this time
if Goldberg has a concussion and Undertakers physical condition has also
    not been revealed.

Knocked myself out and thought I could finish. love my fans..but let u
down. Everyone else that found “pleasure” .. hope ur happy

WWEs John Cena Officially Joins The Cast Of Fast & Furious 9

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 05:27 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/wwes-john-cena-joins-fast-furious-9/

John Cena has officially joined the cast of Fast & Furious 9. The
announcement was made on Friday, June 7, ending months of fan speculation.
That speculation began in April of 2019, when star Vin Diesel teased that
Cena would indeed appear in the film.

No details have been released yet concerning Johns role in the movie.
Longtime Fast & Furious fans know that fellow WWE Superstar The Rock has
been a mainstay of the franchise since 2011s Fast Five. But The Peoples
Champ will reportedly not be appearing alongside Cena in part nine.

However, The Rock will star in a Fast & Furious spinoff, scheduled for an August 2 release. Hobbs & Shaw will see Rocky team with fellow franchise
star Jason Statham in the title roles.

The announcement of Cenas addition to Fast & Furious 9 surely comes as no surprise to WWE fans, who have witnessed Johns growth in Hollywood from the beginning of his movie career. Cena continues to build his resume in Tinseltown, most recently starring in 2018s Transformers movie, Bumblebee.

Goldberg and Undertakers Condition Unknown Following Bloody Match at Super ShowDown

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 05:03 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/goldberg-and-undertakers-condition-unknown-following-bloody-match-at-super-showdown/

Goldbergs iconic dream match versus The Undertaker is over and WWE fans
cannot stop talking about it. The problem is, everyones talking for all the wrong reasons due to what happened during that match at Super ShowDown.

Goldberg came down to the ring with the trademark cut on his forehead from head-butting the door of his dressing room. Its a prematch ritual that hes
used for years to hype himself up for the battle ahead. But this time out,
his expression was not that of an intensely focused veteran. It seemed as though he wasnt in the moment.

The match began fairly quickly, which is another Goldberg trademark. The
WWE Hall of Famer hit his signature Spear twice on The Deadman, but did not
    get the three count.

But its what happened next that caused the match to immediately spiral out
of control. Goldberg went for another Spear on Taker in the corner.
However, The Phenom moved at the last moment and Goldberg hit the ring-post full force, smashing his head open.

Undertaker then Chokeslammed Goldberg and picked him up for his own
signature move, the Tombstone Piledriver. But instead of Goldbergs head
staying above the mat, he slammed down into the canvas. Its at this point
that many WWE fans likely believed the match was nearly over.

But the two men kept going, trading blows in the middle of the ring.
Goldberg hit Taker with a third Spear and then went for his Jackhammer finishing move. But Goldbergs legs wobbled and he did not get The Deadman
all the way over, actually putting the top of Takers head into the mat. Goldberg then picked Taker up in what appeared to be a Tombstone, but once again his legs buckled.

Taker got up and hit a second Chokeslam to finally finish the match. Undertakers expression spoke volumes about this match and fans around the
world knew that this was obviously not what WWE, or the two men in the
    ring, had planned.

As of this writing, neither Goldberg or Undertakers physical condition has
been revealed by WWE. Its entirely possible that both men have concussions
and perhaps even worse, especially on Goldbergs part. Theres likely much
more to come regarding the events of this match and Pro Westling will
    provide updates as they happen.

Triple H Calls Randy Orton "One Of The Best There Is" After Surprising WWE Super Showdown Loss

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 04:42 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/triple-h-calls-randy-orton-one-of-the-best-there-is-after-surprising-wwe-super-showdown-loss/

Triple H had nothing but praise for Randy Orton after taking a somewhat surprising loss to his Evolution protege this Friday afternoon at WWE Super Showdown.

The Game was interviewed just minutes after being pinned, clean and in the middle of the ring, following an RKO from The Viper Randy Orton his second
    of the match.

While Hunter did note that it was approximately 102-degrees in the ring, he also admitted that Orton was the better man in the match, praising him as
one of the best ever. The two had one of the most well-received matches on
the Super Showdown card this Friday, as opposed to the largely panned mess between The Undertaker and Goldberg.

Seth Rollins Says He Wants To Face Brock Lesnar Again In A "Fair Fight"

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 04:15 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/seth-rollins-says-he-wants-to-face-brock-lesnar-again-in-a-fair-fight/

Seth Rollins narrowly managed to escape the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with
the Universal Championship around his waist, but the Beast Incarnate is
still in full possession of his Money in the Bank briefcase

At WWE Super Showdown, the so-called Beast Slayer managed to not only successfully defend his title in singles competition against Baron Corbin,
but also shake off an attack by Lesnar and his advocate Paul Heyman. With a little help from a steel chair and another low blow, Rollins actually left Lesnar covered in bruises, desperately clutching the Money in the Bank briefcase that he was never able to cash in.

Later on, Rollins was interviewed backstage and talked about being ready
for Brock Lesnar, adding that he hopes the Beast does the right thing and cashes in his contract face-to-face like a man.

Matt Riddle Trashes Goldberg: "Youre The Worst Wrestler In The Business"

    Posted: 07 Jun 2019 03:44 PM PDT https://www.prowrestling.com/matt-riddle-trashes-goldberg-youre-absolutely-the-worst-wrestler-in-the-business/

NXT Superstar Matt Riddle did not hold back his feelings on the main event match at WWE Super Showdown this afternoon, as the legendary Undertaker returned to the ring to face former Universal Champion and WCW icon, Bill Goldberg.

While the first few minutes of the match were relatively exciting, with the Deadman kicking out of two back-to-back spears early on, things quickly
fell apart as Undertaker executed his signature Tombstone Piledriver,
dropping his opponent awkwardly on his neck.

Nearing the end of the bout, Goldberg tried for his own finishing maneuver
the Jackhammer but failed to hoist up his opponent and narrowly avoided dropping the 54-year-old Phenom on his head. They quickly went to try the
spot again, and Goldberg simply collapsed getting even less of the move
than the first attempt. At that point a very clearly frustrated Undertaker
made a call that we cant quite make out, and very suddenly pinned his
    opponent after a quick chokeslam.

In a video posted to his Instagram and Twitter, which has now been removed
for obvious reasons, Matt Riddle had the following to say about Goldbergs performance in the main event match:

Goldberg, you lived up to the hype yet again. Youre absolutely the worst wrestler in the business, bro. And thats not an opinion thats a fact.

Awesome job bro, you’re already bleeding and the match hasn’t even started #WWESSD pic.twitter.com/Ovzh3t64Tq
