Start from players 2nd slam until their penultimate slam since first and last can often be outliers. E.g. Sampras being best example, 1990 USO then second only in 1993 Wimbledon. Last is 2002 USO but that was effectively retirement, so the real end is
    penultimate 2000 Wimbledon.

Federer, 2004 AO until 2017 Wimbledon.

Nadal, 2006 FO until 2022 AO.

Djokovic, 2011 AO until 2023 AO.

    Big 2 (fedal) era. 2006 FO - 2011 AO.

    Big 3 era. 2011 AO - 2017 Wimbledon.

    Big 2 (djodal) era. 2017 Wimbledon - 2022 AO.

If Djokovic wins another 2 slams, Alcaraz - Djokovic era gets "activated" from 2023 Wimbledon onwards.

Who is this guy? Any credibility? Didn't read it but looks like a
Fedfucker. Article is 6 yrs old when Fed held slam record.

You can think what you like. I think Mac is goat, you think Fed.
Neither have more than 20 slams like Novak and Rafa.

    The guy is a maniac.

He includes 2004 among Nadal's peak/prime years (17-18 year old Nadal), but has written off Federer post 2009 (28-29 years) as too old.

    On Nadal:

(I’m including 2004, because Nadal already won a Davis Cup Final singles match against then world #2 Andy Roddick, and there may be even more pressure in this situation than winning a Slam Final. Plus, it gives Nadal an extra win on outdoor hard courts,
    their first meeting.)

    On Federer:

(Note: Federer turned 29 in August of 2010, but his level of play was still outstanding for the rest of the year, ending the year as the world number two, with Djokovic third)

The closest thing we can do is compare prime Djokovic (age 21–23) to late, late prime Federer (age 27–29) during the years 2008–2010.
