• RG 2024: Djoker's draw is very difficult!

From Kalevi Kolttonen@21:1/5 to All on Fri May 31 16:04:24 2024
    Hello!

I just took a look at the RG 2024 draw regarding
Djoker. His draw looks very hard indeed!

He next faces Lorenzo Musetti and could even lose
to him. After that it will be the winner of Tommy
Paul vs Francisco Cerundolo, both of them playing
good clay court tennis, even the American Mr. Paul.

If I remember the draw right, then the opponent could
    be Sasha Zverev.

I am becoming more and more convinced that Djoker
cannot win the championship in RG 2024.

He'll make musetti out of Musetti though.

How is it difficult if he didn't get Sinner or Alcaraz in the SF?

Zverev against Nadal showed what he is capable of.
He could win it all this year. I am not sure, though.

    In my pre-tournament selections:
Top half: I had Rudd beating Djoke and Zverev beating Rudd to reach the
    final.
Bottom half: Hubert Hurkacz losing to Alcaraz after beating the injured
Sinner. Thus Alcaraz in the final.

It's holding up so far. You can see my winner in MJ's thread.

    Ruud, lol :)

Good catch! I often type "Rudd" because he was a racer in NASCAR...a
racing series that I used to follow. But no more.
