PerSu gets 7.5% in the EU elections. Lol. Of course, a party that loudly proclaimed pulling out of the EU only to first make it a "long term
goal" instead of a goal, and then dropping the goal altogether because
there is zero votes in that, has no credibility in much of anything. So
much for the sincerity of convictions.

My new shrill-o-meter worked to perfection. It predicted the result of
this election from the steadily increasing shrillness in Frau Braun's tone.

Let me guess. The cutting board jokes will carry the obnoxious,
vindictive, arrogant lady to further defeats.

    Es ist vollbracht.

The result was probably because of the cuts... and they probably didn't
have very popular/familiar candidates. The former communist party had a
great result, because of one single candidate - Li Anderson - who has
been every week in the TV for debates & stuff for the last year plus...
That doesn't mean that her party has suddenly doubled their support.
People voted whom they saw in A-studio etc.

This is not good result for Finland, as quite a few of the elected will
    vote against Finnish economic interests.

Meanwhile the bigger picture in Europe is that the right-wing
anti-immigration parties in general crushed it. Macron will even have
new elections since his party/coalition lost so badly.
