• EU props up defence

With €800B. Details are skimpy, but I understand that could be the total
of individual defence budgets. In addition to that, EU countries have
agreed to a proposal by Ursula von der Leyen to create a €150B fund to finance EU/countries spending on defence.

This is welcome. Excellent news. This should have been done five years
go. But that's how small cats operate.

I don't know what's in the package yet. I seem to have heard somebody
saying that the spending would be (primarily?) directed to European
defence industry. Judging by some stock prices, this could be the case.

I certainly will vote anybody proposing buying arms from the US out of
    office. At the first oportunity.

I am sure those lawmakers are up late-at-night worried about your vote. :)

Some are already voicing my wishes in-between lines. What me worry.

Kinda hope that you get better governing results than I.

We have our "patriots" too. That copy-cat and import their alt-facting
ways from the US. They're even more useless than the originals.

me that I am wasting my vote on "unelectable" Libertarian candidates,
    but that doesn't defer me...
