I had had a sneaking admiration for Griekspor--perhaps due mostly to his girlfriend, and I was under the impression that Zverev was gradually
getting his demons behind him, as he matures, but...

I watched it. Griekspoor wasted 5 matchpoints while leading
6-5 in the third set, but managed to clinch the tiebreak.

Yeah they were choking but the match was very close and
pretty entertaining. It could have gone either way!

I wished I had seen it. Maybe Tennis Channel will replay it.

Unless you enjoy two talented guys trying as hard as they can to hand
the match to the other guy, don't bother.

Seriously, Scall, the last 2 sets were filled with embarrassments.

Like two male Jabeurs playing each other for for the fate of the universe.

Well, as pathetic my serve has been for a while, perhaps I should even
more watch this match! Maybe it can give me some insights to fix my
    tennis serve issues.

So like Thiem v Zverev 2020 USO final?

I think Zverev deflated after the straight set AO final loss to Sinner -
he said in front of everybody 'I guess I'm just not good enough'. It
was a bit awkward for the audience even if true, but a loser's
mentality. He'd benefit from a good psychologist. Not that losing to
Sinner is a disgrace, but he needs to go into every big match really
believing he can win this time if he gets the right opportunities, and
make his opponent earn every point. If he does this every time then no regrets, you really weren't good enough - but make it as hard as
possible for your opponent on the day.

I wonder if his entourage ever told Zverev that a sports psychologist
would be good for him. Or is he avoiding one because of the other
    allegations against him?
