Roger Federer’s former coach said: “It is so interesting. We keep
watching Carlos Alcaraz play and we know what his ceiling is. Basically
it doesn’t exist, because he can play so well.

“The thing that concerns me really is that the floor is not rising as
much as we think it can. Today he did such a great job at the end of the
match, because at the beginning, for his level, he played bad tennis and
a lot of unforced errors. He overplayed.

...True this. alkie playd the first set terribly. And the last two
great. I guess that's good enough.

Maybe it's better that he shows some human signs, otherwise it could
    become boring really fast.

Anyway, I think he'll win RG & Wimbledon...

He's about 3 or 4 yrs away from his peak. He said he wants to be the
goat so obviously is prioritizing the slams as the other titles add very
little to goat legacy. Nothing wrong with this approach as long as it
works, just don't expect his best efforts outside slams. He'll probably
work on certain aspects/tune-up and suffer more losses in non-slams. He
looks like a good bet to win calendar slam at some point, will have to
wait and see if Sinner has longevity at this level and how good Fonseca
    will be.
