I have a Diamond 9 foot with 4 inch pockets in my house that play on daily, and have been for the last two years. Being a student of the game for the last 30 years, I'll say that it's the best investment that I've ever made. I now have very little
difficulty with my shots and cue ball control. Tight pockets will sharpen your shot making ability. However, to get complete advancement in skill level for this craft, you should definitely combine tight pockets with increased distance (bigger table) to
work on speed control and stroke. My two cents. Hope this helps someone.
