One assault eliminated the remaining Nazis to force Germany to surrender. Russia conducted the assault with a vengeance, not the Americans.
We envision the upcoming assault on Gaza intends to eliminate the Hamas party as governors of Gaza just as Russia eliminated the Nazis in Berlin.
I of course did and do encourage Putin to take a lead in negotiating the peace.
