  • Scientists Have Successfully Recorded Data to DNA in a Few Short Minute

From World-News2100@21:1/5 to All on Tue Oct 5 12:50:13 2021
    Hello...

Scientists Have Successfully Recorded Data to DNA in a Few Short Minutes

"Our existing data-storage systems, which can hold only so many 0s and
1s, and consume huge amounts of energy and space, cannot last us
forever, putting us on the cusp of a serious data-storage problem that
can only worsen over time. DNA-based data storage may come to the rescue
as an alternative to hard drives since our genetic code is millions of
times more efficient at storing information than current solutions. Now,
in a breakthrough development, researchers at Northwestern University
have devised a new method for recording information to DNA that takes
minutes rather than hours or days."

Lithium Recovery Tech With 99% Efficiency Earns Its Company $150m in Funds

“Electric vehicles are a low-carbon success story, but the lithium raw materials needed for batteries have become a serious bottleneck,” said
in a statement Dave Snydacker, CEO of Lilac Solutions. “The lithium
industry has been plagued by technical and environmental problems that
have put the energy transition in jeopardy. Lilac’s technology solves
these problems and will finally enable lithium production at a scale
    demanded for the energy transition.”"

More of my philosophy about hydrogen-powered electric car and more..

I am a white arab from Morocco, and i think i am smart since i have also invented many scalable algorithms and algorithms..

I think that Renewable energy sources account for about 12% of total
U.S. energy consumption and about 20% of electricity generation, and an Australian solar company has just developed the world's most efficient commercial-sized solar cell with 25.54 percent efficiency, accomplishing
a significant jump from the previous record of 25.26 percent, read about
    it here:

Australia Created the Most Efficient Solar Cell Ever. With No Silver

    Read more here:

    https://interestingengineering.com/australia-created-the-most-efficient-solar-cell-ever-with-no-silver

And with the hydrogen-powered electric car, the losses are significantly greater: 45 percent of the energy is already lost during the production
of hydrogen through electrolysis. Of this remaining 55 percent of the
original energy, another 55 percent is lost when hydrogen is converted
into electricity in the vehicle. This means that the hydrogen-powered
electric car only achieves an efficiency of between 25 to 35 percent,
depending on the model. For the sake of completeness: when alternative
fuels are burned, the efficiency is even worse: only 10 to 20 percent
overall efficiency, read more here so that to notice it:

    https://www.volkswagenag.com/en/news/stories/2019/08/hydrogen-or-battery--that-is-the-question.html

But i think that the efficiency producing hydrogen is getting much
better with the following invention of a New Electrocatalyst that
Massively Improves the Commercial Viability of Green Hydrogen:

    Green Hydrogen

IonQ Ramping to Over 100 Qubits

IonQ unveiled the first Reconfigurable Multicore Quantum Architecture
(RMQA) technology, a breakthrough in quantum computing.

"They have separated and merged a total of 64 ions to create a RMQA
using 4 chains of 16 ions each. The ion chains are transported and
merged into permutations of a higher-connectivity, 32-ion quantum
computing core, allowing for scaling to large numbers of qubits without
the fidelity loss that historically accompanies very long chains of
ions. This architecture was realized on IonQ’s EGT Series ion trap chip, which provides the stability necessary to operate this architecture with
little to no recalibration, maximizing uptime and optimizing transport.
The EGT series platforms are expected to be extended to support more
chains, with each chain increasing the quantum computational power by a
    factor of 4000 or more.."

So As you notice that they are saying:

"...Rising temperatures are fueling environmental degradation, natural disasters, weather extremes, food and water insecurity, economic
    disruption, conflict, and terrorism..."

So i think that the most important problem is the climate crisis, but i
think we have to be optimistic since here is the news that i have just
posted that shows that we can efficiently fight Global Warming and
    Climate Change:

I invite you to look at the following interesting video about green
    hydrogen:

And read my following writing on green hydrogen:

H2Pro's dollar-a-kilo green hydrogen: a 20-year leap in clean energy?

Israeli company H2Pro claims its highly efficient water-splitting
technology will deliver green hydrogen at less than US$1 per kilogram
before 2030. That's a big deal; it would represent a 60-80 percent drop
in green H2 prices, down to a level where it's cheaper per unit of
energy than current retail gasoline prices in the United States.

    Turning wood into plastic

Efforts to shift from petrochemical plastics to renewable and

require toxic chemicals and is expensive, and the mechanical strength

Optical fiber could boost power of superconducting quantum computers

The secret to building superconducting quantum computers with massive processing power may be an ordinary telecommunications technology -
optical fiber. Physicists have measured and controlled a superconducting quantum bit (qubit) using light-conducting fiber instead of metal
electrical wires, paving the way to packing a million qubits into a
quantum computer rather than just a few thousand.

More about immigration and the social protection system..

I have just read the following article from United Nations:

Growing at a slower pace, world population is expected to reach 9.7
billion in 2050 and could peak at nearly 11 billion around 2100

    Read more here:

    https://www.un.org/development/desa/en/news/population/world-population-prospects-2019.html

So notice that it says the following:

"Falling proportion of working-age population is putting pressure on
    social protection systems

The potential support ratio, which compares numbers of persons at
working ages to those over age 65, is falling around the world. In Japan
this ratio is 1.8, the lowest in the world. An additional 29 countries,
mostly in Europe and the Caribbean, already have potential support
ratios below three. By 2050, 48 countries, mostly in Europe, Northern
America, and Eastern and South-Eastern Asia, are expected to have
potential support ratios below two. These low values underscore the
potential impact of population ageing on the labour market and economic performance, as well as the fiscal pressures that many countries will
face in the coming decades as they seek to build and maintain public
systems of health care, pensions and social protection for older persons."

So this is why you have to read the following to understand more:

And I have just looked at this video of the french politician called
Jean-Marie Le Pen and he is saying in the video that with those flows of immigrants in Europe that: "La 3ème Guerre mondiale est commencée", look
at the following video to notice it:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ene0hp7EAus

But i think that Jean-Marie Le Pen is "not" thinking correctly, because
if Western Europe wants to keep its social benefits, the countries of
the E.U. are going to need more workers. No place in the world has an
older population that's not into baby making than Europe, read more here
    on Forbes to notice it:

Here's Why Europe Really Needs More Immigrants
