I've just updated my old Android mobile clunker to a Samsung A70 and
have noticed my old Gedcom viewer, Family Bee isn't supported anymore
on the newer Android releases.
Family Bee for me was fantastic, and well worth the $10 purchase
price, and something I took to the archives and/or library each and
every time.
I'd be keen to hear from people with a replacement idea.
It must support the Gedcom 5.5.1 standard, and as such I don't want
images, just data. I'm happy to pay of course if it'll do the job.

My Android tablet has a place for an SD card on which I put an
HTML version of my database.

Thanks Denis
Yes, I've got an SD too, all of which I brought yesterday, and
previously my Android App, Family Bee would allow me this feature too
I'm sure.
I think I'd prefer an App from the PlayStore, and would be happy to
pay for it.
From your comments it appeasr as if you're manually copying over those
html files?
In the past, Family Bee would just handle my new Gedcom, downloaded
from Dropbox, and the new data would just over-write the old.
I'm interested in the experiences of other users, although I don't
want an App with family pictures or fancy charting, just the basics
will do; Just like a Gedcom, no images, just text.

Take a look at GedStar Pro - http://gedstarpro.com/ It's no longer
developed, but it works just fine. The program to convert your database
to the format used by the Android app is Windows only. It will import >directly from The Master Genealogist (TMG)(RIP) and Legacy, and from
GEDCOM.
It was originally developed for use with TMG, which is why it went out
of development, give or take*. That's why it's no longer on Google
Play, although it's available on the developer's site. It's free. I'm
running it on Android 9 on a Samsung Galaxy S10e.
* I do see the occasional update, but they're infrequent.

I've had a play and I keep getting an "unable to create database"
error after convert.
Get the same error from my Legacy database or a Gedcom.
Also I have Dropbox & Google Drive installed on Win10 yet the Google
Drive option is greyed out.
I'm willing to persist a bit longer if you have any ideas although it
does seem a bit long-winded in that Family Bee for example would just
handle the Gedcom directly ie no converting required.
I'm using a Samsung A70 BTW.
