    i use q-tips, in spite of what they say

    i've only accidentally poked and hurt myself a few times or so

    but it didn't cause any damage

    i don't know if this makes a difference, but i don't just shove them in

    i think of the canal, and sort of try and swirl them around the insides of it so i am not jamming the wax further into the ear

    it seems to work ?

    i've never really had to get my ears drained or professionally cleaned (ENT doctor)

    and it's not like it's blocking my hearing, which according to the test (of which i am suspicious as to the test group....) my hearing is beyond normal for humans.
