    Yea, but given those cities started with a much higher gun homicide rate..
    they are still higher than the cities with a much lower rate that dropped slightly lower.

    What Phillip Archer posted could also by titled how to lie with numbers.

    if one areas starts with 300 gun homicides while the other has only 100..

    Dropping the 300 by 19.4% still means a lot more murders than the 100
    dropped by 5.1%

    Specifically. 241 gun homicides vs 95

    IOW the cites with the strongest gun control could still have 253% more gun homicides than the cities without that gun control.

    If the numbers were actually lower in the cities with the strict gun
    control.. you can be sure they would be posting the actual numbers.. instead
    of playing games by looking at percentages.
