Tens of thousands of people have been forced to evacuate their homes in Southern California as wildfire rages Wednesday across the Pacific
Palisades and surrounding areas.

Wind gusts topping 100 miles per hour have caused several fires to grow
from non-existent to out-of-control within a matter of minutes in some
places.

At least five people are dead, and thousands of structures have been
destroyed.

Forget the celebrities who have money to rebuild, how about focusing on
Batcave Carolina where people lost everything few months ago to storms and
are sleeping in tents and cars during the winter. The Amish wanted to
donate tiny homes and sheds temporarily and the government wouldn't let
them. Fema hasn't done anything to help and it's the private donations of
basic living supplies from other communities near by that have stepped in
for food, water and basic supplies

Thanks for that comment, I keep bringing that up until I'm red in the
face. I keep saying, we are sending BILLIONS to other countries while OUR
own citizens are in destitute and homeless due to the storms most people
forgot about in West Virginia and NC. The response is a puzzled look. It
was bad then , but now with this weather? If I told you what I believe
FEMA stands for my post would be rejected. ( use your imagination)

Do understand ...just because homes are very expensive in this area, many
of the people are regular people, retired and don't have MILLIONS to
simply move to a fancy hotel and rebuild their homes.
