The Palisades, Eaton and Hurst and fires are still out-of-control in Los Angeles on Friday, three days since they began ripping across the county, killing at least 11 people, displacing nearly 200,000, and destroying as
many as 10,000 structures, including whole residential neighborhoods.

At least 35,000 acres of land have burned down � an area about two-and-a-

We need to stop listening to the tree-huggers, and start managing our
local landscapes, both forests, and barren/badlands. There would have been
a lot less damage had these fires not had the natural fuels from counties letting growth get out of control, and no civilian conservation corps
working daily to manage our lands.
