ATLANTA, GA -- A man who was sentenced to life in prison on Tuesday after pleading guilty to multiple counts of rape, kidnapping and aggravated assault turned to his victims in the courtroom and said, "Sorry, y'all. My bad."
Fulton County DA Paul L. Howard said Terry Young committed a series of assaults and crimes against four East Point women between Sept. 3-9, 2015.
On Sept. 3, Young entered the home of the first victim at gunpoint and, upon seeing that other people were also in the home, stated, “Sorry, my bad” and left.
The next day, Young held another victim at gunpoint and made her drive him to the bank to withdraw money. On the way to the bank, Young sexually assaulted the second victim and pistol whipped her. She jumped out of the car before reaching the bank and
escaped. Young hijacked her car that contained her cell phone and credit card.
On September 8, Young entered another car and forced his next two victims to drive to a bank and withdraw money. After forcing them to drive back to one of the women's homes, he then assaulted both of them and left.
The fourth victim had a security camera in the living room that captured the incident on film. Other evidence, including ATM photos and videos, fingerprints and DNA were collected that matched Young to the crimes.
