Redbridge Group Director Simon Welsh claims there’s a “washout” of the
Greens vote ahead of this year’s federal election, according to data.
“I think on the Greens side ... we’ve seen enough sort of data points
now to show that there is a washout of their vote,” he told Sky News Australia.
“We saw it Queensland, we saw it in the Victorian local government
elections where traditionally they have done very well, they did not
do very well in those latest local government elections, and we’re
seeing it in the polling.”
