TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A man charged with a series of sex crimes for raping a person under the age of 13 was sentenced to life in prison on July 31.

Antonio Ramirez was found guilty on eleven counts combined of rape and gross sexual imposition charges on July 25.

The Rape charges carried the highest penalty, a 25 year - Life sentence, but the prison time was ordered to be served consecutively, meaning Ramirez will likely spend the rest of his life in prison.

Ramirez had sexual contact with a person younger than 13 years old on or between October 2017 and August 2021. Court records show the Oregon Police Department filed the charges.
