Canandaigua, N.Y. — Two more suspects were arrested Thursday in connection
to the brutal murder of Sam Nordquist of Minnesota.
New York State Police charged Kimberly Sochia, 29, of Canandaigua and
Thomas Eaves, 21, of Geneva with second-degree murder with depraved indifference.
Five other suspects were indicted by a grand jury on the same charges
earlier this week in the case of Nordquist, a 24-year-old transgender man
who was killed in the Finger Lakes region after enduring months of
torture.
Three of the suspects who were charged last week have previous criminal convictions.
Sochia and Eaves were taken to Ontario County Jail to await arraignment.
