Trump said up front prices might not go down right away. This ain't
    Romper Room, Jon boy.

Sorry. On Aug 17, 2024, in Flint, MI, the Donald said: "When I win, I
will immediately bring prices down, starting on day one." Actually,
he repeated that similar line at least a dozen times that are
    recorded.

Now, inflation isn't the Donald's fault any more that it was Joe
Biden's. We have been running a deficit for half a century and
inflation is simply the bills coming due. The Donald is a pompous
fool, and anyone who beleives that he will be able to reduce the US
debt by running massive deficits is an even greater fool. Remember
that the Donald ran the single greatest annual deficit in history in
2020. If his budget is approved, he will add three trillion dollars
    to the 2025 deficit.

There isn't anything he can do to bring prices down except cutting
government spending... he can do *that*. It's called a balanced
budget and it's not rocket science. You simply increase government
revenue to be equal to necessary spending.

BTW, "increase government revenue" is a code phrase for taxes (this,
just in case you're a complete moron). But, then, I am coming to
    believe most Americans are,
