An Edinburgh youth on an bike has been filmed pulling a wheelie as they pass a learner driver on a busy main road.

The incident appears to be filmed by another member of the same group in a car driving behind two bikes. While travelling on the busy Sir Harry Lauder Road before nightfall, one of the riders races off in front while pulling a wheelie.

The video, uploaded to TikTok, captures the motorcyclist passing two cars in front, one of which is a vehicle with learner plates on the back. Another bike carrying two youths is also seen in the video as they watch on.

The off-road bike can be seen balancing on the white lines in the middle of the road as it passes both cars in front as they approach the crossroads ahead.

Just days ago, we reported how another off-road rider was seen in Midlothian while a child was balanced on the fuel tank of the bike. The footage was captured via dashcam footage as two bikes were spotted near the Bilston Glen police control centre.

After reviewing the footage, the concerned eye witness was shocked to see a youngster sitting on the bike and noted how they were 'off-road' bikes due to the tyres and lack of number plates.

In recent weeks we have also reported how, in Edinburgh, dozens of locals have had their bikes stolen in different locations and later found footage of them being ridden by youths wearing balaclavas.

Several TikTok accounts have appeared, seemingly boasting about their ill-gotten gains as they ride them around dangerously across the capital and reportedly dump or sell them.
