• Lowestoft cyclist injured after car mounts footpath

    A man was injured after a car mounted a footpath and knocked him off his bike.

    The incident happened between 5.45pm and 6.15pm in Westwood Avenue in Lowestoft last Tuesday (September 26).

    The driver of the car did not stop at the scene and the male cyclist suffered grazes to his hands and legs when he was knocked to the ground.

    Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information is asked to contact Suffolk Police, quoting crime reference 37/56797/23.
